PhotoPearls pictures, portrait

I tried to do something new in scrapbooking style. It became a small picture just 30 cm high and 40 cm wide. I used the PhotoPearls program to generate patterns for faces, then I laid them and left free space around them. The background I made in one color and lied beads to a leafstem and some hearts. When I had put the adeshive sheets on the back and attach the picture on a board, I made frame around the portraits with lying gold beads around the left card and lying silver beads around the right.
Technology: Laying Nabbi-beads after generated pattern and my own invention. Glue with adeshive sheets and mount in a frame. 4800 Nabbi-beads were used. Dimensions: 60 beads high and 80 beads wide. 30 cm × 40 cm.

The photo, which I used for this picture was from 1945 and was in black and white, which most then were. I colored the banana in my image program, then generated a pattern with the PhotoPearls program, laid beads after the pattern, but made the background in color. Used technology: Scan photo, image processing, generate patterns with PhotoPearls, lay beads after the pattern but with some changes.

1945

Two portraits in oval frames.

I measured the frames and then generated patterns in the normal way, then, I put the frame on the printed pattern and drew the outline with a pen. Then, I laid the beads, as usual, but kept them inside the line. When the beads were at the pegboards, I glued with adeshive sheet and cut off excess pieces of the adeshive sheet. Then I just had to mount, as usual :-)
